For over three decades, OSWALD has been manufacturing electromagnets for very high magnetic fields.

OSWALD’s water-cooled high-field magnets are successfully used in plasma physics (nuclear fusion) experiments in Europe and the United States. In addition, they are used in solid-state physics, laser technology and medical technology.

For about 20 years, superconducting magnets have also been developed, manufactured, and tested. The achieved field strengths reach up to 16 T.
