STUDIUM –
AT OSWALD ELECTRIC MOTORS
If you would like to pursue a dual study program or a study program with practical emphasis at OSWALD, we ask you to apply approximately 6 months in advance and to present yourself in person after receiving an invitation. First, however, you need to choose a field of study and a university.
Career options for such training at OSWALD may include Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and in exceptional cases, Business Administration.
“Dual study” means that you work at the respective company primarily during semesters breaks while completing your studies, and you are also undergoing vocational training. “Study with practical emphasis” (e.g., in Aschaffenburg) means that during your studies, especially during semester breaks, you will work with us in the company but will not undergo vocational training simultaneously.
You need to obtain the required documents from the respective university and submit them to us in a timely manner, and then again at the university. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to submit and comply with all other bureaucratic requirements of the university in the form of contracts, appointments, etc.
In both training variants, students and companies work closely together for an extended period, which is why we recommend a one-week internship with us in advance for getting to know each other.
PRACTICAL STUDY SEMESTER / THESIS:
Every year, three to four young adults complete their internship in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with us, either before or during their studies. One or two students annually work on specific technical issues as part of a bachelor’s or master’s thesis (collaborations exist, e.g., with TH Aschaffenburg and TU Darmstadt).
We offer internships and follow-up projects in the following areas:
Mechanical Engineering / Mechanics / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
