WE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY
SUSTAINABILITY FOR THE FUTURE
We are a company committed to sustainability and climate protection. From the development of energy-efficient engines to the use of renewable energy and environmentally friendly vehicles. We are:
CO₂ NEUTRAL
CO₂-neutral company since 2020. Since 2005, we have been recording and optimizing our consumption, particularly in the areas of compressed air, heating, electricity, and water. We continuously work on minimizing emissions, sorting our recyclable materials and waste. Since 2019, we have been tracking our carbon footprint. Since 2020, we have invested in forest plantings in Indonesia to offset unavoidable CO₂-emissions.
SELF-POWER GENERATION
Since 1996, we have been operating our own PV systems. Today, 1 MWp converts sunlight into electricity daily. We primarily generate the necessary process heat using two combined heat and power (CHP) plants with turbines. In both the PV and CHP sectors, we are proud to be among the "pioneers" in Germany.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
At OSWALD, we mainly produce electric motors and generators. These are machines that primarily consist of expensive metals such as copper, aluminum, steel, and PM magnets made from rare earth elements. All materials are collected in different fractions and are fully recycled.
CERTIFIED
For many years, we have been certified in environmental and energy standards to clearly communicate our commitment and careful approach to the environment, climate change, and biodiversity to our shareholders, especially customers and suppliers. As a manufacturing company, we bear responsibility in these areas. We stand by this commitment and aim to uphold this responsibility sustainably.
