MAGNETIC FIELD TECHNOLOGY

For over three decades, OSWALD has been manufacturing electromagnets for very high magnetic fields.

Water-cooled high-field magnets from OSWALD are successfully used for experiments in plasma physics (nuclear fusion) in Europe and the USA. Additionally, they are applied in solid-state physics, laser technology, and medical technology.

For about 20 years, superconducting magnets have also been developed, manufactured, and tested. The achieved field strengths reach up to 16 T.
