CHOPPERS – VECOPLAN

Vecoplan is a market leader in the shredding of residual materials for material or thermal recycling. From diverse plastics to various types of wood and a wide range of waste – Vecoplan offers the right shredding machine for every material from a broad product portfolio. Shredders equipped with OSWALD torque motors from Vecoplan are particularly energy-efficient, low-maintenance, and robust.

METAL FORMING / PRESSING – SCHULER GROUP

Schuler presses shape steel and aluminum sheets in 6 forming stages with a total pressing force of up to 97,000 kN to produce, for example, car fenders, roofs, or side panels. Production rates of up to 17 parts per minute are achieved. This makes Schuler technology faster, more precise, and more energy-efficient than others.

MIXER – EIRICH

EIRICH stands for a comprehensive range of services in industrial processing technology. The focus is on machines, systems, and processes related to mixing and fine milling. OSWALD torque motors assist in overcoming this challenge with high torque, even under the highest load and temperature conditions.

WIRE SAWS – PRECISION SURFACING SOLUTIONS GMBH & CO. KG (MEYER BURGER TECHNOLOGY AG)

PRECISION SURFACING SOLUTIONS GmbH & Co. KG is the market and technology leader among suppliers of machinery and system solutions for the solar and semiconductor industries, as well as sapphire and optoelectronics. With their cutting technologies, various hard-brittle materials are processed into the thinnest wafers, prisms, or other shapes.

TEXTILE MACHINES – KARL MAYER GROUP

Karl Mayer in Obertshausen is the worldwide market leader in textile machines. These are used to produce materials for sportswear, fine lingerie, curtains, shoes, blood vessels, ship hulls, and even baby diapers.

INJECTION PILLING MACHINES – SUMITOMO (SHI) DEMAG

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH, Schwaig/Germany, is a manufacturer of injection molding machines for processing plastics. The Japanese-German company was formed in the spring of 2008 through the merger of the injection molding activities of Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI) and the Demag Plastics Group.

SMALL HYDROGEN, WAVE POWER – DIVE TURBINE

Only 17% of potential hydropower sites are utilized. Through the development of the DIVE turbine, engineers from FELLA and OSWALD have created a high-tech product that makes a significant contribution to protecting our environment. The underwater operation offers the possibility of generating energy from streams, leftover water, or irrigation systems.

WHEEL HUB MOTORS – NOELL MOBILE SYSTEMS

The employees of Noell Crane Systems develop and manufacture state-of-the-art mobile harbor cranes. These so-called “straddle carriers” transport and stack containers in nearly all container ports around the world. Without them, global trade would be unimaginable.

COMBINATION MOTORS FOR MATERIAL TESTING – INSTRON

Pulling, pushing, bending, hitting, twisting, and permanently stressing materials is the business of Instron. Instron machines test material properties in just a few days or weeks under continuous testing. Experience from many years of hard use, such as in vehicles or aircraft, can thus be anticipated under laboratory conditions.

WORLD’S LARGEST ELECTRIC VEHICLE – EMINING

eMining AG offers electrically powered special vehicles. Diesel engines, including tanks, are replaced by electric drives and high-voltage batteries in these retrofits. For the depicted 110-ton eDumper (fully loaded), OSWALD developed a specialized motor. The eDumper transports up to 45 tons of lime and marl from the mountain to the valley. On the way down, the batteries are charged through recuperation. With a full battery and an empty device, it then journeys back uphill entirely on electricity. During its operation, the eDumper never needs to be charged from the grid.

MOTORS FOR TEST BENCHES – HORIBA EUROPE

Drivers naturally expect their vehicles to function optimally. However, before transmissions, engines, brake systems, or exhaust systems hit the market, they are rigorously tested and measured. Horiba in Darmstadt specializes in nearly all types of automotive test benches.

SHIP PROPULSION – HYBRID SHIP PROPULSION (HSP)

With our partner Hybrid Ship Propulsion BV (Rotterdam), we have supplied PM engines and generators for over 100 shipbuilding projects, serving as main drives, for thrusters, or in PTI/PTO applications. The modernization of inland vessels and the conversion of diesel engines to hybrid drive systems are also part of our portfolio, as well as equipping fully electric ferries with OSWALD machines.

HIGH-PRECISION TEST BENCH DRIVE SYSTEMS – ZF FRIEDRICHSHAFEN

ZF Test Systems develops high-precision test stands for drive systems, chassis, and brakes. Our customized electric motors assist ZF with maximum efficiency and reliability in test stand technology. With our technology, we make a significant contribution to the quality assurance of modern drive systems.
