Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH, based in Schwaig/Germany, is a manufacturer of injection molding machines for processing plastics. The Japanese-German company was formed in the spring of 2008 through the merger of the injection molding machine operations of Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI) with the Demag Plastics Group.
